The NAVC’s VetFolio to Exhibit at SAVMA Symposium

Lifelong Learning Starts with the NAVC and Vetfolio for the Next Generation of Veterinary Professionals

VetFolio to exhibit at The Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) Symposium March 17-19

ORLANDO, FLMARCH 13, 2023 – Each year, nearly 4,000 veterinary students start their educational journey and VetFolio, the NAVC’s online learning arm, is here to support them at every point in their careers.

Working to develop students, the future of the veterinary profession, into lifelong learners, VetFolio is available for free for students and faculty in veterinary programs. With education topics spanning the breadth of the profession, VetFolio offers tools and resources both for established professionals and veterinary students looking to expand their knowledge.

VetFolio, a leader in veterinary continuing education, offers more than 500 hours of online CE at VetFolio.com, including short- and long-form courses, virtual summits, videos, articles, podcasts and more for veterinarians, veterinary nurses/technicians, practice managers and other members of the veterinary healthcare team, as well as all veterinary students and faculty, to further their understanding of medical topics.

Attendees of VMX 2023 visit the VetFolio booth in the Orange County Convention Center.

“There is so much to take in during vet school, it is impossible to keep it all top of mind. At VetFolio, we strive to maintain the ultimate educational resource where students and practicing veterinarians can access information in a format that best fits their needs,” said Dr. Cassi Fleming, VetFolio Staff Veterinarian and host of VetFolio Voice. “They can watch a video before a procedure, watch a whole lecture for a deeper dive, or listen to a podcast if they are on the go.”

Students attending the Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) Symposium this week will be able to connect with the VetFolio team and learn more about the resources available to students and faculty, as well as get signed up for their free subscription.

SAVMA Symposium attendees will be able to meet more of the NAVC team during sessions presented by Dr. Dana Varble, NAVC Chief Veterinary Officer. This includes topics such as careers in zoo medicine, our bond with nontraditional species, communicating with owners, and navigating first jobs.

In addition to VetFolio, the NAVC has a long history of supporting veterinary students in their career growth. This includes free registration to VMX, the veterinary industry’s premier and largest global education conference.
