Position Objective

VirtualXP is looking for an energetic, self-driven professional to join our team. This position will work alongside VetFolio and all NAVC teams to maintain and generate new business opportunities for VirtualXP. The VirtualXP Business Development Specialist will look for new and innovative ways to generate subscription sales and partnerships and work with educational institutions to communicate the value of VetFolio and NAVC. The ideal candidate will have experience giving presentations and managing multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly, and the ability to work under and meet tight deadlines.


Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with NAVC and VetFolio stakeholders to maintain and generate new subscribers for VetFolio and customers of NAVC 
  • Create a pipeline through one-to-one communications and AI-driven resources
  • Establish and enhance relationships with Veterinary educational institutions and partner groups, including onboarding and managing materials needed to support adoption
  • Serve as an internal and external VetFolio expert
  • Lead various partner calls and meetings with potential VetFolio subscribers to provide overview of the product, understand customer needs, and act as the point of contact to support the partnership
  • Work with VirtualXP to share feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the product.
  • Work with the Vetfolio team to expand sales of VetFolio subscriptions and Certificate program sales, including marketing ideas and strategies
  • Develop and maintain reports and metrics related to VetFolio sales, including subscriptions, certifications, and large corporate partners
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop sales campaigns and materials


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Four-year degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of successful sales, account management, or business development experience
  • Project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in public speaking and delivering presentations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Marketing experience a plus
  • Previous veterinary industry experience a plus


Additional Position Information:

  • 15% travel (occasional day trips), primarily between Orlando and Gainesville, FL
