Position Summary

The Senior Accounting Analyst plays a pivotal role in delivering actionable information based on financial data to drive organizational goals. The individual in this role will be responsible for more complex financial analysis, including trending and budgeting.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player, with a forward-looking approach to technology, and a sense of humor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Researches accounting rules and regulations and makes recommendations regarding company policy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine primary needs and goals and creates solutions to meet those objectives.
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.
  • Broad knowledge of database systems and experience utilizing Ai-based accounting systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and prioritize workload to accomplish desired goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate in a manner that business leaders understand.
  • Intermediate to strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing, and how they can be applied to drive desired outcomes.
  • Well informed of current business, technology, and market environments. A forward-thinker in modern applications.
