Position Objective

The NAVC Sponsorships Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sponsorships Sales Team as well as assisting with the growth of smaller-tiered clients. Specifically, this individual will assist with the organization, coordination, and execution of cross-platform sponsorship, marketing, and advertising programs for a subset of NAVC sponsorship clients and will provide sales outreach to smaller-tiered clients to grow sales in that subset of sponsorship targets.

This individual is a highly self-motivated, sales professional with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to help develop, and work with clients, to successfully execute sponsorship plans, collect assets, and coordinate sponsorship sales orders, when applicable.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with an assigned Strategic Account Manager or Managers and appropriate staff from other departments to collect deliverables due to the NAVC from each assigned Industry Partner on time throughout the year, to execute the completion of sponsorship transactions
  • Conduct sales calls with subset of assigned smaller-tiered accounts to grow sales in that target base of customers
  • Collect print & digital assets from assigned set of clients for the NAVC Sponsorship suite of products, which include printed program guides, VMX bag inserts and Expo Hall Happenings coupons, VMX New Product Gallery, VMX mobile app, VMX digital signage, VMX Postal Mailers, dedicated eBlasts, NAVC.com and NAVC eNewsletter ads, the NAVC social media channel, and others as they are developed
  • Collect all sponsored education assets from assigned set of clients and communicate those collected assets to our NAVC programs team
  • Schedule all placements and purchased advertisements for assigned accounts, using the proper NAVC channels and staff
  • Perform high-level proofreading of all materials and ad artwork submitted and check all VMX/NAVC references included, such as room assignments, timing, and booth numbers for assigned set of accounts
  • Work with the NAVC Marketing Team to ensure timely and accurate execution of eBlast and eNewsletter tests, serving as the final approver when needed for assigned set of accounts
  • Coordinate with the NAVC third party food & beverage providers to assist in the organization of F&B orders from assigned Industry Partners to ensure proper management and delivery during VMX
    Consult with Sponsorships team to make real-time course corrections to meet client objectives
  • Coordinate and deliver proof of performance presentations and reports to internal clients and to assigned set of accounts, as needed
  • Work NAVC’s VMX event annually in January to assist Sponsorships team with on-site sponsorship implementation
  • Assist with the reconciliation of invoices and sales tracking tools and communicate invoice items for assigned accounts, as needed
  • Assist in collecting post-VMX follow up documentation for assigned Industry Partners to include in post-VMX debrief meeting presentations
  • Assist with special projects, as assigned
  • Travel as needed for client, sales team, and NAVC staff meetings


  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or similar field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Google Drive/Office preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro preferred
  • Proficiency in Customer Records Management platforms preferred
  • Solid group and interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) required

  • Some travel may be required
  • Position is based in NAVC’s Orlando, FL office with the possibility to also work from home, in addition to working in the office, based on manager approval
