POSITION TITLE: NAVC Media Campaign Manager

Position Objective

This position is responsible for the execution of cross-platform marketing and advertising programs for the NAVC Media Clients. This individual is a highly self-motivated, experienced marketing professional with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to help develop, and work with clients, to successfully execute campaigns and report metrics.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with the assigned NAVC Media Sales Reps to track all contracts once signed
  • Manage all contracts and agreements to execute objectives on time throughout the year and contract lifecycle
  • Schedule all placements and purchased advertisements using the proper NAVC channels and staff
  • Serve as point person for internal and external agencies in the execution of campaigns
  • Collect all print & digital assets from clients for the NAVC Media suite of products, product lines to include print, all journal websites and social media channels, mobile apps, dedicated eBlasts and the eNewsletters
  • Perform a high-level proofreading of all materials submitted
  • Work with NAVC Marketing Team to ensure timely and accurate execution of eBlast and eNewsletter materials, serving as the final approver when needed
  • Create a unified format for client dashboards to report campaign outcomes, providing metrics and narrative for impact and effectiveness, including web analysis and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators
  • Consult with team to make real-time course corrections to meet client objectives
  • Manage and execute all sold training modules
  • Conduct and manage webinars as needed
  • Manage fulfillment of gifts and awards for sold programs
  • Manage the asset collection, production and placement of all SoundBytes
  • Collect and manage the Veterinary Resource Library and Mobile App content
  • Create and deliver presentations and reports to internal and external clients as needed
  • Collect, assemble and report all campaign statistics, focusing on trends and making recommendations where necessary
  • Gather ideas from other events and publications (within veterinary industry and outside of the veterinary industry) to consider implementing on behalf of the NAVC
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Travel as needed for client, sales and team meetings


  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, in Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration or similar field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro preferred
  • Proficiency in Ad Sales Genius or similar Customer Records Management platforms preferred
  • Solid group and interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) required
