Updated VMX Website Launching Soon!
VMX DATES HAVE MOVED TO JUNE 5-9, 2021
After months of preparations for a world-class, fully-integrated hybrid VMX Live and Virtual event, the NAVC has decided to move the dates of VMX 2021 to June 5-9, due to ongoing travel bans and restrictions beyond our control.
The NAVC is committed to its important role of moving the veterinary community forward and we believe in coming together – both in-person and virtually. We have been inspired by the thousands of attendees registering early and the positive feedback received from the surveys we’ve sent.
We believe VMX is at its best when the entire veterinary community can participate, and during these uncertain times, we are taking into consideration all the interests and perspectives of our community. In addition, we believe this decision best honors the commitment to the promotion of public health clearly stated in the veterinarian’s oath.
We hope you’ll join us in our journey forward at VMX 2021, June 5-9.
We’re Committed to Your Safety
Your health and safety is a top priority for us. We have reimagined our educational experience, networking and events in new ways to ensure that our community – no matter the level of travel confidence, medical state or health risk level – can learn, grow and be inspired at VMX 2021.
At VMX 2021, we’re committed to keeping you safe and informed with key developments, and advice and recommendations for a safe conference experience. VMX will practice strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines from the CDC.
Based on state recommendations, we will adjust official capacities and reduce occupancies for your safety. Please register early, to reserve your spot, as onsite attendance may be limited.
The GBAC STAR accredited Orange County Convention Center’s fully trained safety and sanitization staff has implemented the industry’s highest standards for cleaning and disinfection of infectious agents. Extra hand-washing and sanitizing stations will be available.
We will be regulating flow and density of those entering, attending and departing the event. Non-invasive temperature checks and health screenings will be held at venue entrances for all event attendees, guests and staff.
The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has collaborated with Visit Orlando and premier healthcare system, Orlando Health, to launch a new program that will provide added reassurance for health and safety. The medical concierge program is among the first of its kind in the country, and will provide VMX attendees with personalized medical support.
We understand that COVID-19 is impacting travel plans throughout the world. We remain positive that VMX will go on as planned, but we want to assure you that you can register now with minimal risk.
Please note that due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, VMX will transfer VMX Live in Orlando registrations to VMX Virtual passes and provide all applicable refunds, should the on-site event be canceled. If you decide to not attend the live event, based on concerns around your health or travel, there will be a nominal cancellation fee of $65 before November 30.
Now, for the first time ever, VMX is coming to you wherever you are with the world’s leading veterinary event now accessible online with live-streamed, simulive and on-demand RACE-approved CE. Experience this new way forward with VMX Virtual in its inaugural year and take advantage of limited introductory registration rates!
