VetFolio is looking for an energetic self-driven marketing professional to join our team. This position will work alongside the VetFolio team and in collaboration with the NAVC and AAHA marketing teams to develop and execute VetFolio’s marketing plan. VetFolio’s marketing goals include promotion of content, subscription signup and renewal, and user engagement and retention.
This position requires strong communication skills and will work with cross-functional teams from VetFolio, AAHA and NAVC. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the following people:
NAVC and AAHA Sales and Marketing/Engagement teams
Information Technology team
The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects and developing marketing strategies. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and to work under and meet tight deadlines. The Digital Marketing Coordinator should also have at least basic knowledge/experience in the following areas:
Planning, Conceptualizing, Developing and Distributing e-Communications
Photoshop/Photoshop Elements image editing
Writing and editing
Plan, conceptualize, develop and distribute eCommunications
Design and production of print materials
Responsible for promotion of VetFolio paid subscriptions and specialty programs
Assist with development and distribution of sponsored content promotions
Work with VetFolio/NAVC/AAHA team to develop marketing strategy and forecast calendar
Develop and execute marketing campaigns for various areas including student and recent grad signups, Web conferences, certificate courses, and corporate subscriptions
Measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns through key metrics and data collection
Generate reports of key marketing metrics and data
Work with marketing team to create and execute booth strategies for conference presence
Manage VetFolio’s social media presence and work alongside the content manager to strategize and develop social media plans
Creation of VetFolio promotional materials such as handouts, giveaways, etc.
Cross-train with other VetFolio team members to assist with coverage when needed
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Four year degree from an accredited institution
Preferred 1-2 years of marketing experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Search Console
Strong communication skills
Multimedia Channel Implementation: SEO, email marketing, SEM, Social Media Marketing
Experience conducting data-driven SEO site audits and familiarity with SEO optimization tools.
Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to monitor and enhance internal and external search engine performance for campaigns.
Demonstrated experience managing schedules and meeting deadlines, especially when managing multiple projects at a time.
